IT’S GAME DAY! #uabb #totheship #finals #phase4 #werenotdoneyet

Life can change course in a moment. Each of us has had experiences where the path we were on suddenly diverged and led us to a place never would have imagined. Sometimes, these transformational experiences happen by chance. Other times, we consciously choose to take a different road. Some experiences alter our path only slightly, while others rock our worlds to the extent that life will never be the same.

I was in this race with them. It was crazy!

I know this isn’t a picture of nike shoes or whatever, but it’s of my friend at 2010 nike nationals, at the first muddy turn, she fell and was trampled, but finished the race. She need about 26 stitches. She is an inspiration.
Also: if you look at the bottom of her ankle, the blood running down her leg looks like a nike swoosh (:

 this is fucking awesome

I remember reblogging this before… but it’s still amazing. Not saying I want something like this to happen to me, but it’s cool when stuff like that does, and you still come out victorious.

I KNOW HER! I’VE RUN AGAINST HER BEFORE AND SHE’S VERY NICE! THEIR TEAM IS AMAZING!

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Go hard today, can’t worry ‘bout the past cause that was yesterday.
